Communicare Breathing Space is a temporary accommodation based in Western Australia for men who want help to break their cycle of domestic violence. A behavioural program designed in a secure & confidential  setting.  It's the only full-time residential program in Southern Hemisphere that provide a 24 hour therapeutic community. The main aim for this program is for the women and children they have terrorised; Communicare Breathing Space allows men to leave their family home so women feel much safer knowing where their men are.

This temporary resident can only accommodate 12 residents. At the moment there is a year long waiting list for these men who desire to change.

A great article by Konrad Marshall about the men behind this program. Manning Up
