Our clothing is made by multiple suppliers, we ensure that all of our suppliers prioritise social and environmental responsibility. Our production facilities are located in Southern India and Bangladesh where annual audits are conducted to comply with the Fair Wear Foundation’s Code of Labour Practices. We also work with carefully selected manufacturers in other countries, and who are committed to our values, which include great respect for working conditions and a people-centered approach. Our products are made using 100% organic cotton, bamboo and mainly recycled polyester to ensure the quality, durability, and comfort of our products. Our suppliers have won numerous awards for their environmental and corporate responsibility, and their garments are a favourite of designers, printers, embroiderers, and customers worldwide.

At times, we participate in markets and stalls to showcase our products. As we are based in Adelaide, South Australia, we mainly attend local markets and stalls, but occasionally we participate in markets and stalls in other states. To stay up-to-date on upcoming market and stall dates and locations, please follow us on social media. If you’re organising a market or stall and are interested in having us attend, we’d be delighted to discuss the possibility.

Irrelevant Society underwent a change in ownership in March 2023, with the business relocating from New South Wales to Australia being the most significant change. The new owners aim to build on the foundation laid in 2015, create more awareness for domestic violence survivors, and add a new and important chapter to Irrelevant Society. Your continued support means a lot to us.

If you are interested in supporting domestic violence survivors, we recommend reaching out to local shelters or charities that support survivors. You can assist by donating money, items, or volunteering your time. It’s also important to educate yourself and others about the issue of domestic violence, including how to recognise the signs of abuse. Supporting and believing survivors by listening to their experiences and offering empathy and validation is also important. Speaking out against domestic violence and abuse can help raise awareness and empower survivors to seek help and take steps towards healing and recovery

We believe that everyone can help make a difference in the lives of domestic violence survivors. On our side, we hope you continue to follow and support our small business on social media to help raise awareness of an important topic.
